Most of my projects are focused on two things, getting something fun and useful while learning more about how to make things. I've jumped around between CAD and CAM systems to try and expand my skillet and have focused mostly on 3D Printing as it looks to be the future or rapid prototyping (And its cheap, which works well with my undergraduate status).
The "Spinner" was, and is, a project to make a 3D printable and iterable version of a toy I had when I was a kid. This was a all plastic propeller toy, with a set of big blades above a small plastic shaft one would spin between their hands. I got started on it as a short and easy way to make a toy for my cousins Christmas, but proceeded to make a more than twenty iterations of the object over an entire semester. It was an awesome introduction to 3D printing and 3D printing design and got me started in the Forge Maker space.

This project was part of a challenge among the Forge room managers. We were to improve the space as much as possible within a two hour span (minus printing time).
Our Resin printer in the space has a some spilling issues when its tanks are improperly changed. This can result in large volumes of resin being spilled, putting volunteers at risk due to the nature of resin to mess biology up in fun ways. This container constrains the tank while simultaneously providing a significant reservoir of resin, stopping that resin from spilling and giving volunteers significant reaction time to safely mitigate the problem

The box project was a project aimed squarely at solving a problem that I faced over the summer of 2026; how the heck do I 3D print something to hold my many screws and fasteners without using absolutely massive amount of material. In the end I managed the get it to a place I'm pretty happy with, albeit some aspects of the design are still under some development. This project has a lot of potential to improve, and I'm only at the start of production for the V.2 design, so expect more in the future.

Over the summer at the YMCA we had a lot of playing card based games, whether that be Uno, Go Fish, or a more traditional deck of cards. The boxes for the cards are made of cardboard, and in the hands of kids between the ages of 5-7, those don't stay boxes for very long. I designed this to be rapidly and cheaply printed, with a secure hinge and a firm clip. I manufactured a bunch of these and they went over great with the kids, certainly saving the YMCA way more money than they cost to produce. It was a really cool way to engage my campers about 3D printing and making things, many getting their first experience outside leg through this project.
